A portrait session can be as simple or as complicated as you want, but just about every client enjoys it. My studio is in West Greenwich close to the A2 and Deptford Bridge DLR and Greenwich mainline stations; I photograph here and on location.
2006 Costs
REGULAR STUDIO SESSION: £75 (£100 at weekends). Location shoots within London travel zones 1-2 are £100 (£125 at weekends).
We spend up to two hours taking an unlimited number of photographs which are then shown at a studio viewing session one to two weeks later. Your photographs can be displayed in a number of ways including desk and wall prints, storyboards and albums.
PORTRAIT TEA: £125. This is a family or group sitting of up to six people in the studio over about 3-4 hours. We spend about an hour on your portrait shoot in the studio and possibly a nearby park, then your images are prepared while you tuck into morning or afternoon tea. Afterwards, you view and choose your finished images. Use the session as best suits you - for example, fun family time or a hen party alternative.
SPEEDY SESSION: £50 (Monday to Thursday). A 30-minute studio session including two 175mm (7") prints.
BEDROOM PORTRAITS: The same rates apply as regular studio sessions. Often called boudoir portraits, girly clients book me to photograph them in less than they might usually wear, putting together one or more images for themselves or their loved one. This is when we get to talk about and play with shoes, fab underwear and accessories. It can be in a bedroom, but just as easily somewhere else. And yes, all prints are retouched so that you look like yourself - simply on a good day!
