Kensington and Chelsea Register Office on the Kings Road, SW3, is listed in The Independent’s 50 Best Wedding Locations and has been where people from Judy Garland to Irving Penn have tied the knot. It has three rooms available for weddings and civil partnerships: The Register Office (for a couple and two witnesses), The Rossetti Room (up to 14 people) and the Brydon Room (for up to 40 people).
I’ve photographed weddings at Chelsea Register Office many times on Saturday and midweek, with anywhere from two witnesses upwards. Below is a wedding album from Anna and Rob’s wedding at Chelsea, followed by a reception in a private room at Bluebird, also on the Kings Road.
