I recently worked alongside colleague Alex Whittle at a Chiswick wedding, covering the ushers’ lunch, ceremony at the church that Nicola and her family had been attended for years and their reception at Chiswick House. It made a real change to shoot with another photographer and was a pleasure to spend the day with Alex and such a lovely couple and families.  During the ceremony, there did seem to be quite a bit of dust in the air, judging by the number of moist eyes.

Nicola’s father is a rather splendid musician and arranger who played The Devil Went To Georgia in honour of her American heritage – I caught him practising beforehand.

Featuring prominently in the day were Nick’s two sons – so a portrait of the three of them was a must.
