Here are the final photographs from the Lansdowne Club wedding of Diya & James last month. It was difficult to choose which photographs to post; Diya and James are such an affectionate and happy couple. Also, Diya’s family are such characters, even greeting us outside the Lansdowne Club when we returned from their portrait session with cigars. Diya and James were also ready in good time beforehand and had allowed time for couple portraits, again, meaning we were able to get the great posed photographs they wanted.
Aren’t Diya’s Benjamin Adams wedding shoes stunning against the restaurant’s art deco surroundings?
I took James and his chaps just around the corner for some portraits against the grey Mayfair architecture. We were so lucky with the winter sunshine.
We returned to The Lansdowne Club in good time for the ceremony.
Diya looked stunning as she walked down several floors towards the ceremony.
Diya moves so elegantly – these weren’t posed and it was such a blessing to have clean, clear walls as a background.
We headed for the few Mayfair blocks around the Lansdowne Club including Nobu – one of Diya and James’ favourite restaurants in the winter sunshine.
Our welcoming committee, complete with cigars!
The day’s speeches brought tears and laughter.
Diya and James took to the floor for their first dance. After this, their guests joined them on the dance floor or retired to a nearby room to sample the cheese cake with bride and groom Lego toppers.
