When you book a portrait sitting two months in advance to fit in with two busy medical schedules, you really are taking a chance with the weather – but it worked out brilliantly today for Louise & Mohammed with their engagement session. They suggested Marine Ices because it’s where they went for one of their first dates. We did some shots with them – and ice-cream delights a Knickerbocker Glory & Vesuvius – then went to nearby Primrose Hill for some more shots in the sunshine. We then finished with coffee outside one of the cafes there, while two paparazzi photographers dodged behind and around cars and a traffic warden, trying to photograph someone outside the cafe opposite us. I can’t wait until their wedding at Eltham Palace in September and to see what Louise is wearing. Quite frankly, there is little better in life than spending the afternoon with such nice & fun people in the sunshine.
