London maternity portraits | G

G has just given me permission to show some of her maternity portraits taken a few weeks ago. She and her husband A took a lot of time planning their session and came in for a consultation a week ahead of their portrait session, so they could maximise their session time & best choose what to bring with them. The first three used drapes from the studio.London maternity portraits

G brought her wedding veil, with its delicate softness and wonderful draping qualities.

She had also raided one of my favourite Soho fabric shops for some translucent material which also draped wonderfully, giving us a range of new lines. This is my fave from this session.

This portrait is especially abstract, meaning that it could be hung in many areas of the home. It would look especially good as either a framed art print or as a box frame or canvas.

London maternity portraits | Gretchen

When Gretchen booked her maternity portraits for some pregnancy photography, and I gave her the studio address, it turns out that we had been neighbours and she, her husband and dog used to live upstairs until a few months ago. Here are some photographs from their London session that they’re very happy to share.

Maternity portraits | Claire

Claire and her partner Sam came in today for their maternity portrait ordering session and have given permission to share a couple of their and my favourites from their London maternity portraits taken several weeks ago. The main reason for the session was to have one of the fine art style maternity prints to be framed on their wall.London maternity portraits

London maternity portraits | new site

I’ve just launched a new maternity site. It seemed that a great deal of the portraits I do are maternity ones and it made sense to have one specific web site covering them. It talks about the session itself, has a gallery of art images likes the ones presented for my Fellowship, and options for clients to present their images. I’ll also add some photographs of the products such as albums and storyboards in the coming weeks.

London maternity portraits | Jayne

Jayne came for her maternity viewing today – and was pretty chuffed with the results. I was chuffed too – and Jayne is happy for me to share the images below. The wonderful draping is part of her wedding outfit from about five years ago that she loved and was excited to wear again.
