When Gretchen booked her maternity portraits for some pregnancy photography, and I gave her the studio address, it turns out that we had been neighbours and she, her husband and dog used to live upstairs until a few months ago. Here are some photographs from their London session that they’re very happy to share.

Clients Lucy and her partner Matthew have just been at the studio selecting an art print for their baby’s nursery from their pregnancy portrait session at the weekend. Lucy studied drama, which really showed when it came to their session, bringing in a selection of clothes including a funky black hat and lacy lingerie. Their aim was to choose one main print to hang in the nursery – this is the one they chose, which is going to be printed onto watercolour paper and gallery mounted.

Jennifer booked in for a maternity portrait session last week – and decided that she would like a Queensberry digital (coffee table) style album. We took quite a number of images in the studio and also went on location in Narrow Street, near where she lives in east London. I pre-designed her album and today we made a few changes so it’s just about finished. Below is one of my favourite images of her and her bump.
