The Deck wedding | Regents College | Ellen + Andrew
Ellen & Andrew started their wedding day at home, ready on schedule for some portraits in their newly renovated home and in their garden, before setting off for their National Theatre’s The Deck wedding in a Routemaster.
They had a relaxed hour with guests, chatting in the sunshine, which also meant I had a chance to capture details and architecture as well as the guests.
There was a definite Scottish flavour to the day from Andrew’s family.
The guests gathered in The Deck while Ellen and Andrew made their entrance.
After a few drinks, it was time for some portraits around The Deck, the National Theatre and the South Bank.
Then it was off to Regents College for Ellen & Andrew’s reception.
They had an amazing tree theme to their day, which I’m going to cover in a post of its own, along with other details, but as guests were settling in with a drink, we stole away for some sunset portraits.
Speeches later in the day were from Ellen mother, reading out her husband’s speech, since he was in hospital that day.
The evening ended with a ceilidh.
